I visited in Spring when everything was slowly coming to life…

The sound of the water everywhere was incredibly soothing. I stayed nearby and was able to make drawings early in the early morning light. The light was brilliant. The paintings emerged from a few drawings, a few photographs & my memories of the place which made a deep and lasting impression.
